Cording Foot # 006813008-P This versatile foot is used for gathering, shirring, , applying fine cords.
Position piping along seam line on right side of fabric. Place second piece of fabric on top, right sides together. Put fabric , piping layers under Piping Foot with piping in groove on underside of foot. Sew with straight stitch, length 2.5. Groove on underside of foot will guide piping.
To make piping from fabric:
Cut bias or crosswise grain strips wide enough to cover cording plus seam allowances.
Lay cording on wrong side of fabric strip , wrap fabric over cord.
Place fabric , cord under Piping Foot with cord in groove on underside of foot.
